We are pleased to launch the first of our TV and Film Makeup Courses, starting with a fun 'One Day Introduction' that teaches you how to apply a Baldcap, create funky wounds out of kit and how to deal with tricky 'shine' or 'blemishes' on actors.

This course is on Saturday 20th November 2010 and can be booked by clicking here!

Our Flagship Course is the 'Four Week Intensive TV and Film Makeup' that runs from Monday 7th February until Friday 4th March 2011
 
It teaches you how to become a competent Makeup Artist and further blocks can be taken including a Two Week Prosthetic On Set' and Two Week Wig and Hair Artistry Course.

We are proud to announce today that Melanie Lenihan will be joining us as a tutor, focussing on our new 'TV and Film' Courses in Feb 2011.
 
Her Beauty & Straight Makeup work has graced many a front cover, including OK magazine, Kerrang! and Cosmo Brides and many other magazines. 

Over the past few years Melanie has concentrated more on TV and Film work, enjoying productions such as ‘A Passionate Woman’ for BBC One and ‘Peter’ a feature film about The Yorkshire Ripper due for release next year.

Hybrid Fx designed & created the 'Peter Sutcliffe' Character Makeup and Props for the production which shot in May at the Three Mills Studios in Stratford and up North.

Additionally the Makeup Designer was recomended by us and had also trained with the School under a bespoke course in 2009!

Having crew that worked along the same lines, design and onset proved to make the shoot work well across both Makeup & Special Makeup Effect Departments.
